Servicing
After speaking with us at C.A.R.S Mobile Mechanic, we will have a good idea of your current vehicle status and service history, mileage and of course your budget. Together we will have come to a decision on which service your cars needs and an appointment will be made, at either your home or workplace address. On the day of appointment we will come to you, and service your car right there! Oil and old filters are taken away leaving you with no mess and a freshly serviced car. THE BASIC SERVICE
Generally a Basic Service is required every 6 months, it requires changing of the oil and oil filter as these are the first service items to wear out with the oil becoming black and thicker and the filter will start to clog with carbon deposits and other gunk that forms in your engine oil. This is the most basic level of service and can be used as a bare minimum example. Most manufacturers will recommend a Part or Full Service 6 months after a basic service. This way the engine oil is renewed every 6 months and once a year, so is the Air Filter and Spark Plugs. Engine Oil is one of the most important fluids in your car, followed closely by coolant. You wouldn't drive your car with no coolant in, so why continue to drive it on oil that no longer lubricates properly? All our Services include a complimentary check and top up of your other fluids, coolant, brake fluid etc, a full written invoice and your service book stamped if present.
PART SERVICE
At C.A.R.S Mobile Mechanic, a Part Service includes, Fresh Oil, New Oil Filter, New Spark Plugs and a New Air Filter. This is a good level service when your history is unknown, or you've just bought a car for example. Its pretty comprehensive changing all but two service items. C.A.R.S Mobile Mechanic offers great value for money on your Part Services. All our Services include a complimentary check and top up of your other fluids, coolant, brake fluid etc, a full written invoice and your service book stamped if present.
THE FULL MONTY
A Full Service is required, generally speaking, every 16-24 months as it includes parts that don't need changing quite as often, combining the Basic and Part Service it includes, Fresh Oil, New Oil Filter, New Air Filter, Spark Plugs for petrol models, and also a cabin filter ( pollen filter) and your fuel filter. C.A.R.S Mobile Mechanic start at just £120 for a service of this level!!
